Early Rising: So Simple, So Hard

Lose an hour in the morning, and you will be all day hunting for it.
— Richard Whately

Early rising is the simplest (and hardest) way to change your life. Most all of us wish we had more time. If life is too short, just wake up earlier—simple right? (Only in theory)

If you’re interested, I explain how to access an extra 500 hours per year.

It’s hard because, in the early morning hours, the bed imitates the womb. It’s warm, cozy, dark. The covers from our bed act as a cocoon in the evening and prison bars come morning.

Have you’ve been working to develop the habit of early rising? Good for you! Keep at it. It’s worth the fight. We all lose the battle to the bed now and then. Keep persevering.
