Life isn’t one consecutive season. No. Flowers bloom, leaves fall, temperatures rise and drop. Change is ever in the air.
Growth is also about change, and we should prepare ourselves for the coming seasons.
There are periods of growth where devotion and enthusiasm roar like a fire. Then there are seasons where ashes and embers are all to be found. Devotion comes hard; enthusiasm has cooled.
But, don't all fires wax and wane? In frustration and despair, don’t stamp out the embers, pack up, and move on. Growth is seasonal. Keep stoking. Fires can always be woken where ashes and embers remain.
